NURSERY PROGRAM
Our nursery program lovingly cares for children from newborns through 4 years old during church services and special events. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment where young children can begin to experience the love of Jesus.
The nursery is available right after the opening worship music is finished. Children in our nursery enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities, including:
- Bible stories that introduce simple, foundational truths about God
- Snack time to keep little ones happy and comfortable
- Play time with toys and games that encourage creativity, sharing, and social development
These activities help support both spiritual and personal growth by fostering an early understanding of God’s love, encouraging kindness, and helping children learn how to interact well with others.
New to the Nursery? If you are visiting or using our nursery for the first time, please introduce yourself and your child to the nursery attendant when you arrive. They will guide you through our check-in process and answer any questions you may have to help your family feel welcome and secure.

Meet our nursery attendant
"Hi - my name is Claire Welch. I recently graduated from Sullivan High School. I am currently a student at Lake Land College, working toward becoming a physical therapist assistant. I'm excited to be part of the nursery ministry because I love working with children and creating a safe, loving environment for them while their families worship. This role is important to me because I enjoy supporting parents and giving them peace of mind knowing their little ones are taken care of!
ELEMENTARY PROGRAM:
Children’s Church Overview
- Ages: SMALL BLESSINGS ages Pre-k - 1st grade; KINGDOM KIDS ages 1st grade - 5th grade
- Our goal is to instill the biblical foundations into the youngest members
- Curriculum currently being used is The Storybook Bible curriculum. This walks our students through the Bible using key Bible stories. Each week they learn through interactive activities, Bible readings, question & answer time. They leave with a handout so parents are able to reinforce the Bible verse and story throughout the following week.
- Our current curriculum is laying the foundation for our young children to grow in their faith and knowledge of God. They are challenged to think deeper through questions related to the Bible story of the week. We also encourage our children to get into the habit of bringing their Bible to church with them and opening it up each week as they gain more knowledge of God’s messages throughout the Bible.
- When new families arrive, they are greeted with information about our programs we offer and the process and timing of our programs are explained to them. Then they are given a paper to fill out with allergy and contact information.

Meet our Elementary Education Leader
"Hello my name is Sarah Camp. I have been a teacher by trade for 16 years with a masters in curriculum & instruction. I am wife to Jeremy and mom to Blair & Cora. I have grown up in the church and have felt the call to step into leadership on a few occasions. When we started RCC it felt right for me to take the reins for the children's ministry. It has been such a joy and blessing to build this program into what it is becoming with the help of our amazing volunteers!"
